The Journey of a Lifetime for the Cause of a Lifetime
In 2014, The Clinton Partnership created a world first by taking over Orient Express’s exclusive train in Asia, the “Eastern & Oriental Express,” a three-day journey from Singapore, through Malaysia to Thailand. We re-branded the train “The Tiger Express” and created a unique, never to be repeated journey in aid of Save Wild Tigers. The stunningly bespoke journey involved travelling through the heart of the wild tiger’s historical habitat.

Kicking off at Raffles Singapore, guests were treated to an exclusive champagne reception and overnight stay. Over the course of the journey, highlights included stopping in Kuala Lumpur to join a Royal gala dinner in aid of saving the Malayan Tiger, attending the grand opening of a tiger photographic exhibition in Penang, and culminating with a champagne reception and overnight stay at the Mandarin Oriental in Bangkok.

Celebrities including Gok Wan, Jamie Winstone, Leee John and Jimmy Choo, donated their time in support of wild tigers. Joined by international media, we raised significant funds and importantly over £0.5 million worth of global media exposure for the plight of wild tigers and the amazing E & O Express – the perfect partnership.
